| Description | Two Files of Press Releases created to advertise the film during its production. The first file includes synopses of the film, cast and crew credit lists and short biographies of the main actors. There are three biographies of Kirk Douglas including one in German. Some of the biographies are coded B followed by a number.
The second file contains press releases including column items on subjects related to the film's production such as short descriptions of the sets, the hiring of props, the casting of military personnel as extras, the casting of specific roles and the disappearance of one of the cast members (Timothy Carey). A number of the Press Releases are coded like the biographies with C for Column items, F for stories about the actors and crew including statements made by the actors and T for stories about the production's progress such as Douglas arriving for shooting and the last days of shooting left.
The main author is Syd Stogel with other releases written by Stan Marguilies and Clarey Barbiaux. Most of the releases are addressed to Bryna Productions.
