TitleNewspaper Advertisement Designs
DescriptionFive cuttings from French Newspapers each one with one or more advertising designs attached to them [the cuttings were probably used to show where the adverts were intended to go] Some of the advertising designs have been labelled in pen giving their intended publication day such as Mecredi [Wednesday] or Demain [Tomorrow].

The majority of the adverts have a simple design of a white cross on a black background. A triangle of white emits from the cross down and to the left as if it were a negative of a cast shadow. At the bottom of the beam and on a white background beneath the beam is the film title 'Les Sentiers De La Gloire' with a medal covering part of the L and O in Gloire. Below the title is further information about the film such as the stars and producer. At the top of the poster in white within the black background is 'Un Film De Stanley Kubrick'. Some of the advertisements include quotes from French Newspapers about the film.

The file also includes two information sheets from LPC (La Publicite Cinematographique) listing French newspapers and giving information on the size and price of adverts placed for the film covering the 23rd Mar - 1st April and one sheet giving information on when advertisements were to be broadcast on television and radio.
