Contains letters and cards inviting Dickinson to screenings and events, such as the 'Presentation of the Best Films of All Time', with attached programme, the the Robert Flaherty Foundation's Alumni Week-End, and the Stratford Shakespearean Festival's International Film Festival in Canada. It includes letters of thanks and requests for obtaining prints of Dickinson's films. In addition, it contains a letter to Dickinson informing him of the physical deterioration of 'World Melodie' and Dickinson's reponse that he cannot help, and correspondence between Mary Field and Dickinson regarding how to proceed with American participation in the International Film Centre of Films for Children, with Dickinson's suggestion of contacting Eric Johnston [President of Motion Picture Association of America]. Attached is a letter to Dickinson from J. Toussaint [Secretary General of the International centre of Films for Children], with a further attached letter addressed to Eric Johnston, asking him to consider the creation of a National Centre of Films for Children in America.
