DescriptionThis sub-sereis consists of correspondence and ephemera. The correspondence and work linked to other writers such as Chris Goddard and Brian Lee, to whom Clive Exton acted as reader and mentor. There is extensive correspondence and material around Peter Sykes, the director of 'The House in Nightmare Park,' with whom Clive Exton had a dispute over the rights of a script entitled 'Eddie and the Lucky Salt Nut.' Additionally, there are undated synopses for two television dramas 'Richer Dust' and 'Pirate' for which copyright is not owned by the LCC or by the Exton Estate, as well as a copy of Abel Baker's 'Clever Dick,' a farce. There is also 1 box of press clippings from 1962 - 1971 and assorted ephemera.

Custodial HistoryThe papers have been in the possession of Mrs Mara Exton, since the death of her husband Clive Exton. The papers are donated to University of the Arts London in March 2010.
