DescriptionPublished by Souvenir Press in Great Britain. The graphic novel explores 'the beats' Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg. The novel uses a variety of art styles and, in addition to Pekar and Piskor, features writing and illustration by Paul Buhle, Nancy J. Peters, Jay Kinney, Nick Thorkelson, Penelope Rosemont, Summer McClinton, Mary Fleener, Jerome Neukirch, Joyce Brabner, Trina Robbins, Anne Timmons, Gary Dumm, Lance Tooks, Jeffrey Lewis, and Tuli Kupferberg. The book was edited by Paul Buhle.The varied art styles utilise different layouts and page formatting with elements such as panelling and use of text. The content is solely printed in greyscale whilst the cover is black, white, grey and yellow.
