DescriptionBlack and white prints, 12 inches by 15 inches, of the sausage factory camera set-up. Pictures show the general camera arrangement, as well as the gearing and the track used.

The Sausage Factory was a system of selsyn synchronised motors fitted to a hi-pack camera which enabled the special effects crew to programme the camera's movements so that shots could be repeated exactly. This was used for in-camera matte shots.
