| Description | Two boxes of 2 ¼ colour transparencies taken on the set of the film [Probably taken with a Rolleiflex camera]. Behind the scenes shots with images of the building of the sets and the preparation of some scenes of the film. There are identity shots of actors in their costumes and images with the crew and the director Stanley Kubrick.
The transparencies include shots of the spaceships, the construction of the centrifuge set, images of props and images of actors in space suits.
The name of the photographer such as Steen, Ivor Powell, Keith (Hampshire) was written on some of the original sheets have, this has be replicated.
Some of the transparencies consist of up to three frames of images together in strips.
Each item is numbered from R1c to R2647c. Each sheet that contains them is also numbered from R1c to R245c.
Sheet number R99c and R100c have duplicate slides?
Between sheet number R231C and sheet number R232C there is a gap in the numeration. Sheet R231c ends with transparency R2389c and sheet R232c begins with transparency number R2490c. The images appear to be in sequence. It has been copied as it was. [Probably an original numbering error]
Ten transparencies of which eight have duplicate numbers but are not duplicate transparencies. These are in the last sleeve in box 2. The numbers are R3C R39C R90C R95C R144C R233C R328C R2384c, one slide had an unreadable number and the last transparencies had no carrier so no number.
