Amongst these are two slides which show areas referred to in the film. They are two copies of slide number 259 titled Region of PTOLEMY AND TYCHO and slide no. 264(crater clavius)
Thirty-four black and white slides of Galaxies and Nebulas
One colour slide of Great Galaxy in Andromeda. This galaxy was used in the publicity poster for 2001 .
