| Description | The sub-series contains research for locations. The files seem to relate entirely to locations that were used. Black and white, versos of photographs are marked with a letter but the meaning of this is unknown.
Including: photographs of location by set name; coloured slides of location research; and mock-ups for "Home". The sub-series contains Kubrick's first sequence of files 1-52 [incomplete] labelled by number and location. Each file is entitled with the original file title, they include photographs of the location as well as paperwork.
The sequence then continues to Kubrick's second file system, 1-6 [no number 4]. These are in different dividers, labelled by number and location but not correlating to the number and location of the first sequence.
Some photographs have lost the original file cover these have been added in between Kubrick's sequences.
The film was shot entirely on location in the UK [see letter SK/13/2/1/16].
