| Description | Still photographs, negatives and contact sheets mainly documenting the making of Paths of Glory and used for publicity purposes during the production and distribution phases. The series includes stills that were processed for the French release of the film in 1974. There is also a casting photograph of Susan Christian [Christiane Kubrick].
Behind the scenes photographs feature cast and crew working or resting and often show filming equipment whereas action shots feature the cast in costume during filming as if they were images taken from the film itself.
