DescriptionThe file contains correspondence and reports from Motion Picture Association of America [MPAA] regarding the changing over Harris-Kubrick Pictures Corporation's registrations to Polaris Productions; and reports regarding title registration service, including a Memoranda of the Title Committee [1937]. Also included is a title registration report from Motion Picture Association for the registration of 'Journey Beyond the Stars' [registrated in 1964] and a list of similar registrated titles by other production companies; sample release index cards for registration with MPAA [many of them incomplete] and a card registration for 'Journey Beyond the Stars'; cards containing title contact list [names of production companies and their details]; and handwritten notes by Kubrick containing possible ideas for names including 'Journey Beyond the Stars'.
