There is a handwritten note on it directed to Louis Blau [Kubrick's lawyer] asking for his response; and letters relating to the showing of the film in Ceylon [Sri Lanka], Kubrick to Leo Jaffe, Columbia Pictures, 18 Aug 1965 in which Kubrick refers to the fact Arthur C Clarke [who lived in Colombo] said the film had not been shown.
