The first programme for Nov 1948 - Jul 1949 includes three themes: 'The Birth of Cinema', 'Georges Melies', and 'a Hundred Masterpieces of Cinema, 1895-1934', and the second programme is a typed 8-page booklet of '250 Films D'Essai et D'Avant-Garde', for Jul-Sep 1949, and the third is for 'The Birth of Cinema' and 'Fifty Years of Cinema 1892-1942', for Oct 1949 - Jul 1950. There are also four programmes for 1956, when the Cinematheque was located at Rue D'Ulm: 'Hommage a Georges Melies'; 'Images du Cinema Allemand'; 'Image du Cinema Scandinave: Danemark - Suede'; and, 'Images du Cinema Anglais'. |
