DescriptionThe folder contains eight files, each containing administrative documents in regards to the closure of Parton Street. The file marked as M.W.B contains correspondence in regards to the relocation of a fire hydrant and a map illustrating the placement of the water mains around the School of Arts and Crafts. The file marked as L.E.B & C.E.A contains correspondence in regards to the re-routing of the electrical mains on Parton Street and a map illustrating the placement of the exisiting cables and ducts. The file marked as N.T.G.B contains correspondence in regards to the diversion of a gas main and a map illustrating the placement of the mains. The file marked as 'Reports' contains reports on meeting taken to discuss the logistics and costs of the proposed diversions and two maps illustrating the proposed closure of Parton Street. The file marked as 'Holborn M.B.C' contains correspondence in regards to the sewer on Parton Street and a map illustrating the location of the sewer. The file marked as G.P.O contains correspondence in regards to the diversion of a 42-way duct beneath Parton Street and two maps illustrating the location of the ducts. The file marked L.T.E contains correspondence in regards to the effect of the closure of Parton Street on the area's public transportation and two maps illustrating proposed bus route alternations. The file marked as 'General' contains general correspondence and plans in regards to the utilities work on, and subsequent closure of, Parton Street.

The folder also contains two un-filed pieces of correspondence in regards to Parton Street, and seven further plans illustrating the location of the principle utilities contained in the folder's inner pocket. Also in this pocket are several loose sheets relating to the proposed utilities work on Parton Street.
