Individual or organisational biography | Biba was a London fashion store, prominent in the 1960s and 1970s. It began as a postal boutique by Barbara Hulanicki in the early 1960s, which then exponentially grew from a boutique store, to a department store in Kensington Church Street, and then 'Big Biba' on Kensington High Street. Big Biba sold everything from clothing and beauty, to homewares and food, and attracted up to a million customers a week. |
