Description | Contains a document produced (possibly for press or listings purposes) by Bentley Productions providing synopses for episodes of series two of Midsomer Murders, to be broadcast March 1998, with additional production information and biographies of the cast and production credits; One copy of various drafts of a letter from Betty Willingale to Alan Plater on revisions for a script.
The copy of the final letter is dated 19 Jun 2002. Also one personal notebook regarding Midsomer Murders including short plot synopses for season 2, very brief and production notes, to-do lists, dates and planning, phone numbers as well as some personal domestic to-do lists by Betty;
Two letters from Alan Plater, dated 3 December 2002 and 2 January 2003, about Midsomer Murders. The second letter compares the world of Midsomer with Beiderbecke [presumably The Beiderbecke Affair', a comedy drama written by Alan Plater and broadcast on ITV in 1985, and also comparisons with Agatha Christie.
Letter from the actor Shelagh Fraser, saying how good it was to see Betty again and remarking on a good script, and mentioning she is glad she is playing opposite Moray [probably Moray Watson, who she played opposite in an episode of Midsomer Murders: Judgement Day] She also sends news of other projects she is working on;
