| Description | Letters and press cuttings from Alan Plater. The letters update Betty on work, and some make reference to his work. He mentions a planned project on 'Middlemarch', which in the end he could not take on. He also mentions a dramatisation of 'Tess of the d'Urbervilles' for Granada. Later letters mention recieving revised scripts from Betty, this would be contemporary with their work on 'Midsomer Murders'. The press cuttings are of his articles.
