Description	Records related to Charles L Pickering's work as an Inspector of Education (HMI) after 1949, including evidence for his assessments, minutes, course information, leaflets. These largely concern his inspection of Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, University of Sussex, Brighton Polytechnic, the London College of Printing at Elephant and Castle, Kitson College of Technology, Leeds Institute of Print Purchasing, West Sussex College of Design, Garnett College, and some of the actual school assessments authored by Pickering himself.
