| Description | This folder contains material related to the exhibition, ‘Toys - Are They Playing With You?’ shown at Cockpit Gallery Holborn, 18 Nov-15 Dec 1987.
It includes an exhibition invitation draft, with pasted sections and photocopy on pink paper; An exhibition statement noting that the exhibition is a collaboration between the photographer Geoffrey Cox and teachers Vickey de Rijke and Alison Wood; and a press release for the exhibition, including notice of talks and workshops occurring during the exhibition run.
There are also 10 strips of 35mm colour negatives, showing the exhibition panels. In addition are press cuttings from 1987, including ILEA Arts Review, and City Limits, as well as a parent’s pamphlet, from Coram Children’s Centre, dated April 1987. There is also an exhibition poster for its display at Tindal Community Rooms, Balsall Heath, West Midlands. |
