ActivityBrian True-May is a producer known for 'Ultimate Force' (2002), 'Midsomer Murders' (1997), 'The Broker's Man' (1997), and 'The Vacillations of Poppy Carew' (1995).
He also previously worked as a location supervisor.

Brian True-May was a co-creator and producer from ITV's television crime series 'Midsomer Murders' from its beginnings in 1997, for 14 seasons.

In 2011 he had to step down from his role on Midsomer Murders due to comments he made in an interview in the Radio Times, where he suggested that the show 'wouldn't work' if ethnic minorities were included in the cast, and said of the production, 'We're the last bastion of Englishness and I want to keep it that way.'
ITV responded that it was 'shocked and appalled' at the sentiments which were 'absolutely not shared by anyone at ITV'.
Later True-May apologised and an ITV spokesman said, 'We welcome the apology from Brian True-May and understand that he will step down from his role on Midsomer Murders at the end of the current production run.'
