| Description | This series contains a number of small plastic and cardboard boxes, housing slides and negatives, which range from 35mm to 6x6 format, and also from colour to black and white.
Some of the boxes are labelled, indicating their contents. These labels include: ‘Brighton, Italy, India’, ‘Vatican (Hilary)’, ‘Pogues’, ‘Shelter’ (there are numerous boxes labelled as such), ‘Transexuals’, ‘Chelsea Hospital Cheese’, ‘Ex-folio’, ‘Unit 2, 2 sets’ (two boxes are labelled as such), ‘Brixton’, ‘Amsterdam, Festival of Fools’, ‘Crete’, ‘Greenwich, Lara, Pubs, Cars’, ‘Hammersmith Bridge’, and ‘Sussex Flicks’.
Many of the boxes are dedicated slide containers, while others appear to have been repurposed. Brand names adorning the boxes include Kodak, Agfa, Kenro, Stereo, Gepe, and Dia-Direct. |
