Title108- WALKING THROUGH TOKYO
Description(born 1964) is an American-Canadian composer, improviser,
and installation artist. She is one of the few non-Japanese
performers of the sho, a traditional mouth organ used in
gagaku, Japan's imperial court music. Originally from
Minnesota in the United States, she lives in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada. • "Walking through Tokyo", a portrait of
Tokyo, intended for a/v projection in gallery or theatre,
features soundscape of Tokyo composed by Sarah Peebles
with a parallel work in photographs exploring Tokyo's
unique urbanity, cinematically synchronised to the audio
composition, created by Christine Pearson. Sent to Her
Noise curators for consideration as gallery installation or
theatre screening. Pdf files also included, "Presentation
Tech", "Audio Visual Notes", "Bios Credits", "Yoshimura
English", "Yoshimura Nihongo".
