On this unedited tape, Anne Hilde Neset and Lina Dzuverovic discuss the early beginnings of the Her Noise project, and how they each began working together in 1996 when they were employed at the Wire and the LUX, respectively. Included on this tape is the viewing of zines, Emma Hedditich speaking/reflecting about the creation of the archive, the archive in situ at the South London Gallery, and about Hedditch's meeting with Tobi Vail & Alison Woolf of Bikini Kill through the Archive. Hedditch also discusses Melanie Clifford's proposal to record the "We're Alive, Let's Meet" gatherings, which concluded in a six-part programme for Resonance FM in 2005. There is a digital edited version of this interview and it is also held on mini dv which is 55 minutes in length. |
