| Description | A series of art and music performances took place throughout the duration of the exhibition, all of which have been documented on to both MiniDv and recorded as .aiff files. The opening night on November 9th saw a solo performance by Jenny Hoyston from Erase Errata, whilst Kim Gordon and Jutta Koether performed in the Reverse Karaoke yurt to open the installation to the public. The Her Noise curators, Lina Dzuverovic and Anne Hilde Neset, also performed together briefly in the yurt, which can be seen on the MiniDv of the opening night (HN___).
There were three scheduled evenings of performances after the opening night that took place during the month of November on Saturdays 12th, 19th and 26th. Heather Leigh Murray and Christina Carter performed on the 12th. The 19th was devoted to Riot Grrrl performances with Ana Da Silva of The Raincoats, Tobi Vail fronting Partyline, and Alison Woolf performing with both Partyline and Spider and the Webs. The third and final evening of
performances on the 26th was curated and hosted by Hayley Newman, and was titled, Hayley Newman: A Concert. Newman invited The Bohman Brothers, Bruce Gilbert, Margariti Gluzberg and Anne Bean to respond to her installation MiniFlux. Newman also created a performance titled, Fashion. |
