TitleCatalytic Clothing
DescriptionCatalytic Clothing was a collaborative project between Helen Storey and scientist Tony Ryan which sought to explore how textiles, clothing and cladding for buildings and vehicles, can be used as a catalytic surface to purify air. The research completed by Storey and Ryan created numerous public outputs including collaborations with the Royal Society of Chemistry for the ‘Field of Jeans’ display, and TFL which saw catalytic textiles attached to London buses for a weekend. Included in this series are material samples, design illustrations, technical and scientific documentation, exhibition material, examples of education and engagement activities, press clippings, photographs, and audiovisual materials.
