TitleDress of Glass and Flame
Descriptionthe Dress of Glass and Flame was a collaboration between Helen Storey and scientist, Prof. Tony Ryan, and supported by The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). The dress is made entirely of glass and is lit from within by a flame in the glass bodice. Alongside the final dress, a short film was made of the making process and thinking behind the piece.
The Dress of Glass and Flame was part of the group show, 'Glasstress: White Light/White Heat', curated by James Putnam and Adriano Berengo shown as part of the Venice Biennale.
