| Description | 'Invocation: Maya Deren' (1986) was Kaplan’s in-depth biographic documentary film about the renowned avant-garde filmmaker of the 1940s and 1950s, and features interviews with Stan Brakhage and Jonas Mekas. This series includes all of Kaplan’s material relating to the film, including her extensive research for the documentary and production materials such as call sheets, itineraries, VHS masters, and newspaper clippings.
