| Description | Kaplan’s collated correspondence includes both outgoing and ingoing letters, as well as cards, invitations, and materials used for an annual new years card which she sent her friends and family. Letters were written to a variety of correspondents, but most notably to Christopher, a friend from her time living in Paris, and Wayne Lavender, a friend from New York. Both these correspondences begin in the early 70s and continue up until 2006 in the case of Lavender. There is also a series of correspondence relating to her immigration applications to the UK in the 1970s and 80s. |
