| Description | Daler spiral bound sketchbook [started whilst Joy was still at Kingston School of Art, and continued whilst working on Thunderbirds]. The cover is covered in paint spots, doodles and notes. Inside is a collection of faces from magazines, which includes celebrities, and sections of faces, such as noses or ears. Joy's own sketches of faces and clothing are alongside these in a variety of mediums. [The scrapbook was used by Joy as a reference for creating the puppet heads on Thunderbirds.] 1 black and white photograph is included.
At the back are loose full page magazine cuttings of faces, poses, and animals, along with 2 unrelated newspaper articles. |
