Individual or organisational biography | In 1962 the London School of Printing moved to a brand new building in Elephant and Castle and the institution's name was changed to the London College of Printing (LCP). The building was officially opened in 1964 by Sir Isaac Hayward and was expanded in 1973 with the building of the design and management block. This section of the archive covers the period of 1962-1990 when it was entitled the London College of Printing, in 1990 the college merged with the College of Distributive Trades and became the London College of Printing and Distributive Trades until 1996 when it became the London College of Printing again temporarily, thus items created in that time period comes under LCC/4. |
