DescriptionThis series is made up of folders that contain documents revolving around one specific subject matter. The subjects of these folders are related to the experimental and improvised music the LMC programmed (The Nihilist Spasm Band, George Lewis) or musical projects LMC members were involved in (The Feminist Improvising Group, Company, Improvisor and Readings magazine and Orchestra of Light). LMC/4/9 - LMC/4/XX were found housed together in a cardboard box with a post it note saying 'themed folders'. It is unclear whether these documents were grouped together by someone at CRiSAP for the purpose of research or the online exhibition 'Sound Traces. The LMC Archive'. In any case, each folder corresponds to a specific subject so they belong in this series although some of these subjects were events the LMC programmed and as such could also belong to the series Events ( LMC/5).
