| Description | The 'final' screenplay is dated and copyrighted 15 May 1970, although changes were made as can be seen by annotations and the final cut of the film. This copy has handwritten annotations by Kubrick in red pen, with the alternative title 'The Ludovico Treatment' [this has been crossed out in pencil, not necessarily by Kubrick] and has the code 5247/5288 on the bottom right corner and 'FILE/ 1. CWO/2 BLUE PENCIL SCRIPT/ CORRECTIONS' written on the cover. Portions of text are highlighted in orange marker [probably by Alex, see letter below, and not Kubrick] and others have been crossed out.
