TitleThamesmead sheets 69-71
DescriptionSlides detailing internal and external architecture and furnishings of the location. The majority are external shots of the housing and landscaping.

Thamesmead was an ambitious social and architectural experiment aiming to relocate 60,000 Londoners in a new suburban community. It was designed by the Greater London Council Architects department employing an entirely prefabricated system of construction. The architecture is modernist and in parts utilitarian, employing pale concrete and glass. Parts of Thamesmead were used in the filming.
