Title'Clockwork Orange - Publicity'
DescriptionA file containing miscellaneous newspaper clippings about A Clockwork Orange from the 1980s. Also included is a newspaper cutting from september 9th 1983 titled 'Editor' which states that Sir Tim Curtis and the National Film Theatre know why Kubrick banned Clockwork Orange but do not feel at liberty to share it. The cutting is mounted on paper with a note to Kubrick asking whether it is time to 'come clean'. Also attached it a photocopy of a clipping and a handwritten note from Kubrick explaining that he does not have to 'account for [his] judgement'. Original folder retained.
