Description	The file contains: letter form Kubrick to The Detroit News, 31 Mar 1972, regarding their ban on advertising X rate for unrated films. There is also the revised 5 Apr 1972 version with a handwritten note on it by Kubrick. The letter was published by the newspaper; Ted Ashley's [Chair, Warner Brothers] delivered to the Publicists Guild and referring to the ban; responses sent to The Detroit News by the Motion Picture Association, 28 Mar 1972; inter-offices memos related to possible actions that could be taken by Kubrick; and readers responses to Kubrick's The Detroit News letter.
