DescriptionFile contains correspondence between Shelley Duvall and Stanley Kubrick. The letter from Shelley Duvall to Stanley Kubrick, dated 7 December 1977, discusses costume idea for Wendy Torrence referencing a photocopy of clothing catalogue and Duvall's own clothes, and Duvall's clothing sizes. There is an original, a photocopy of this letter and a photocopy of the clothing catalogue. Also included is a letter and a postcard sent by Duvall to Kubrick whilst on holiday in Hawaii. Both pieces of correspondence include details about how the holiday was going and arrangements for accommodation for the filming period of The Shining. There is also a Telex to Stanley Kubrick asking him to confirm when he need Duvall to start shooting the film and Kubrick's handwritten draft response.
