The folder contains a letters of complaint to the editor of Screen and to Stuart Hall [then the director of the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies at Birmingham University, where Ellis studied], and replies from both, a letter to Barry Salt at Slade, encouraging him to write to Screen, a letter to Dickinson from Charles Barr, and Dickinson's draft response.and two other draft letters. There is also a four-page letter to Dickinson from Ellis, responding to Dickinon's criticism.
