DescriptionThis series contains proofs sent to Dickinson for the book, 'Oxford Companion to Film', edited by Liz-Anne Bawden, a former colleague of Dickinson at the Department of Film in the Slade School of Fine Art.

[Dickinson was one of two special consultants for the book, his role being to read the proofs and make suggestions and corrections. Each batch has been kept as it was sent to Dickinson, with his typed comments and letters attached to the specific batch. In Box 2 is an example of the envelope in which batch one was sent to Dickinson.]
