[In 1959 Dickinson made Power Among Men, the first feature film to be released under the United Nations. The film has four related sections, moving from Italy, to Haiti, to Canada, and finally to Norway, each section a story of the conditions or events taking place in the specific place being filmed. The film deals with issues such as rebuilding after war, U.N. work with natives to help with agricultural advances and techniques, building the Kitimat Dam, and the problems atom bomb, but the benefits of the atom for medicine and agricultural purposes. The overall intention of the film is to demonstrate the idea that what can be resolved on a local level can be expanded to an international level with common objectives and understanding.

The film was directed by Alexander Hammid, Gian Luigi Polidoro, V. R. Sarma and Victor Vicas. It was written by J. C. Sheers and Dickinson, and edited by Hammid and Dickinson, with Dickinson also in charge of production.]
