DescriptionThe file includes posters signed by Eckersley to advertise the Museum. The first advertises an exhibition 'European Resistance to [white text] Nazi Germany 1939-1945 [black text]', 9 May 1984-21 Apr 1985 [dated 1984 by Eckersley]. It features a large swastika, the bottom arm of which is broken, in black on a background of red. 'RES' and 'RESIST' in white emanate from the broken arm and off the page. Measures, 76cm by 51cm. The second advertises opening times and location, the text is in green and black. The image is a block profile of a solider in dark khaki green, he wears a helmet in black. The helmet has a branch of stylised stem and leaves in various brighter greens. The background colour is white. 1981. Measures, 76cm by 51cm.
