ActivityBarrow's was Birmingham's most prestigious tea merchant, grocer and Tolkeien. Most of the big houses around Birmingham had their grocery requisites delivered by Barrows.

Barrows was started by Richard Cadbury Barrow, nephew of John Cadbury, the founder of Cadbury Chocolate. Richard had taken over John Cadbury's shop in Bull Street when his uncle, John, had moved to Crooked Lane to become wholesalers.

Barrow's was bought by the Key Markets division of Fitch Lovell in the 1960s and the name was discontinued.
